Barcone’s Music welcomes you and your young artist to the exciting world of music. Instrumental music provides a positive outlet for self-expression.  Participation in a school music program will enrich your child’s learning experience through self-discipline and responsibility.

Barcone’s Music is a family run business that has represented quality and integrity for generations.  We currently provide services to over 90 school music programs in 8 counties.

We are proud to participate in this worthwhile musical experience with your child.

General Rental Terms

Heres the fine print included in your contract…

  • ALL RENTAL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • A FEE OF $10.00 WILL BE POSTED ON ACCOUNTS THAT ARE 15 DAYS PAST DUE (this late fee is also Non-Refundable).

  • CREDIT CARDS WILL BE CHARGED FULL AMOUNT DUE PLUS LATE FEE FOR ACCOUNTS 30 DAYS PAST DUE. ▪If the instrument is kept more than 15 days after the last day of the rental term (March 15th or September 15th, depending on the contract start date), the credit card provided will be charged the full amount due, REGARDLESS OF AUTO-PAY AUTHORIZATION.

  • In order to avoid a late fee, please call 845-331-6089 before September 15th or March 15th (depending on the contract start date) so as to make payment.

  • If a rental instrument is returned more than 15 days after its due date will be charged $2.00 per day, or the full semester’s rental, whichever is less.

  • Barcone’s Music will repossess any instrument if the rental fee is not paid within 60 days.

  • If an amount is due and unable to be collected or the instrument is not returned, the signer is responsible to pay all costs of collection and repossession of the instrument, including any court costs, legal fees, and any other fees incurred by Barcone’s Music.

  • The signer is responsible for loss or damage to an instrument.

  • The signer is responsible for returning the instrument the way they received it. Any missing accessories (including mouthpieces, sticks, mallets, drum pads, bows, ligatures, neck straps, etc.) will be charged to the account holder’s credit card that is on file.

  • Barcone’s Music must be notified of any change in address. Removal of an instrument from the address indicated on a rental agreement will be considered theft.
    Barcone’s Music reserves the right to refuse to lease an instrument based on prior credit history.

  • The signer retains the right to terminate this agreement at any time, ONLY by returning the instrument to the company. If returned in adequate condition, all completed payments shall be considered non-refundable and ineligible for equity programs. You are responsible for the instrument until it is returned to our place of business. Please phone or email Barcone’s Music to schedule the return of an instrument.

  • Barcone’s Music has the right to pick-up the instrument at school at 6-month intervals to provide adjustments. Permission of the signer is not required for this service.

  • Barcone’s Rental Program contracts are 6-month terms and are from September 1st

  • March 1st, and/or March 1st to September 1st.

  • All repairs must be made by Barcone's Music. The company does not provide replacement accessories; drum heads, sticks, straps, mouthpieces, oil, grease, reeds, swabs, strings, rosin, or other expendables. Nor does the company restore appearance, refinish scratches or minor dents that do not affect the performance of an instrument.

  • If you agree to the maintenance and repair package The company will pay for all repairs as long as your rental account is in good standing and payments are up-to-date. Repairs will NOT be covered by Barcone's Music if intentional and/or malicious damage occurs, as deemed upon examination by our technicians regardless of your payment for the repair and maintenance package.

  • If the account falls behind, you will be responsible for the overdue payments and the cost of the repairs.


 
 

Warranty and Repair Policy

We’ll help you take care of your rental instrument…

  • We will pay for all repairs as long as your rental account is in good standing, payments are up-to-date, and you are enrolled in our maintenance and repair plan.

  • All repairs must be made by the company. The company does not provide replacement drum heads, sticks, straps, mouthpieces, oil grease, reeds, swabs, strings, rosin, or other expendables.

  • Nor do we restore appearance, refinish scratches or minor dents that do not affect the performance of an instrument.

  • If the account falls behind, you will be responsible for the overdue payments and the cost of repairs.

  • If you opt not to have repair/maintenance protection included in your rental, all services listed above will be the sole responsibility of the contract signer.

  • Repairs wont be covered by Barcone's Music if intentional and/or malicious damage occurs, as deemed upon examination by our technicians regardless of your payment for the repair and maintenance package.
